Hirschsprungs Disease

Does anyone have experience with Hirschsprungs Disease? Doc is pretty sure DD2 has a mild case of it and I'm just trying to get a feel for the non mayoclinic.com version of what this means for our family. We are seeing a specialist mon to run some tests and verify that is really what is wrong with her little tummy. Any advice or experience would be helpful thank you.

The doctors thought my son might have a very mild case of Hirschprungs. He was always constipated (as a infant he would have a bowel movement once every 20-25 days), then at six months when we started solids he couldn't hold them down.  At that point we did some testing and they started some meds saying that they would do a biopsy later depending on how he did on the meds.  I've recently been taking him to Childrens Memorial and doing a ton of testing.  So far, they've change my diet(I still nurse) and his and that has helped a ton.  So, for us it's turned out that most likely his was all a dairy protein allergy all along.  As long as his symptoms don't get worse they don't believe it's HD.

But, there is a woman on here SweetMonkey (I believe that's the right name), who has two sons with it. She was one of the ones who encouraged me to get more testing done for him.  Also there is a great group on Facebook.  I've gotten a lot of info from them.
