What activities are you doing lately?

We just got these pony bead bracelets from Oriental Trading and they're great! DD has made tons of bracelets already and I don't have to worry about the beads falling off the end like when you use pipe cleaners, plus they're not sharp. DD loves making patterns or just playing around, and the beads & bracelets can be reused.

Well, DD didn't really get to help with this but I just had to show it. We had a bunch of kids over so I made rainbow jello. The trick is that you don't have to use orange or green jello - it just looks like it's there because that's where the red/yellow and yellow/blue meet. It takes a while because each layer has to set first. DD had never had jello before and was a FAN!

I saw somewhere to give DD a hammer when construcing crepe puzzles. This small element has enthralled DD and she absolutely loves this activity.

All great ideas! I need to check out Oriental Trading and get some craft things like that... any other suggestions from that company?

Those beads and bracelets looks like a great thing to have- we've been having trouble with pipe cleaners being sharp.

And the jello looks so yummy!  I don't think Eva has had jello yet either but she thinks your rainbow one looks "fancy".
