Do all the cervical cancer ads freak you out, too?

Seriously, whoever is putting these things together is doing a bang up job of scaring the crap out of me.  

Since I'm not going to be using any of my lady parts again for having kids, can I just get rid of it all so it doesn't go all cancer-y on me later?

I don't get to watch a lot of tv so I don't think I've seen them. But it is one of my biggest fears & I always swear the dr is missing it and I will die. Totally irrational but that's a hypochondriac for you.

They don't terrify me any more than I already am. My grandmother had undiagnosed cervical cancer which eventually spread and she died. Pretty much every Pap that I have ever had has come back pre-cancerous and I've had more Colposcopies and Biopsies than I care to count. I'm just glad that I'm done having kids, so that if they do ever find anything, then I'd be okay with having all my lady bits removed.
