Congrats to CJ and your early success - hope that A continued to sleep well. K did really well. She went down awake at 7 and did not even cry to initially put herself to sleep. She woke up at 3 (we are still doing one feeding because she takes at least 5 ounces, but we're trying to slowly reduce and eliminate) and it only took 25 minutes for her to put herself back to sleep. Not terrible crying, but a lot of fussing and moaning, so we never even did a check in - I was concerned about the feedback that I got from a couple of nesties that said if the crying is just more of a fussing, a check in would probably just make her more upset.
I just did some more Ferber for her first nap - 2 minutes of crying, check in, 4 minutes of crying, OUT. Not having to rock her to sleep for a nap is HUGE for us.
So far, so good....
Re: Ferber update (for those interested)
That is great!
