Both my pail liner and my wetbag are Wahmies brand.
Honestly I got that brand because its what m_and_m had in stock that I could take home that day. I love the wetbag, but washing the pail liner every couple days has started to destroy the PUL lining. Once DH gets my clothesline installed I think I will start line drying it instead of tumble drying it.. hopefully that will help it last longer. Other than that, its been great. Fits our pail perfectly and we haven't had any stink issues.
I have two of each, and like them a lot. The wetbags are great at keeping the smell in. We often are away from the house for longer periods of time, so I have a few dirties in there, and it doesn't stink up my bag or car.
I have a small wetbag from Baby Earth - no clue on the brand - I just bought whatever was in stock and not pink. I use that in my diaper bag. I don't have a bag in the diaper pail. I keep an un-lidded plastic trash can with handles in the bathroom, and I rinse each diaper as it's used, wring out excess water and toss it in the pail. I am a little short on diapers, so I wash pretty frequently. I've never had a problem with smell issues. I wash out the trash can pretty frequently too.
I have a bummis pail liner. I bought that one just because I was already buying some stuff from Cottonbabies. I just wash it and hang it dry, and it's holding up well so far.
Ours are Wahmies. I love the wetbags, but had the same issue as BeckO with the pail liner.

are you reconsidering CD'ing? (if so, that's great!)
yes, we are in the midst of a trial run with the flip (same maker as bumGenious). However, we think that L's skin is not cool with the stay-dry fabric. Once it clears we are trying the organic liners.

What kind of soap are you using? It might be a reaction to the soap and not the diaper itself.

Well, please don't yell at me....first I did use tide---a few of the websites did say the original was okay. But that was only 1 time. When I washed them again last night, I used Country Save. We are going to try the organic inserts and I did re-wash the others in the country save again. I will revisit again and see if it was the insert or the detergent.

On the detergent/soap issue, Alex developed a rash, and several people suggested I add an extra cold rinse cycle to my washing, to make sure I got all of the soap out. I peeked in the washing machine during that extra cycle, and there were bubbles EVERYWHERE. I was using WAY too much detergent, and I wasn't getting all of it rinsed out. It took several rinse cycles to get rid of all that extra detergent, but once I did, Alex's skin cleared up.
Thanks mcgee. I will try that. I would love to use the stay-dry inserts (no folding and cheaper...), but if I have to stay with the organics, I am cool with that too. I've been using only a tblsp on detergent, but maybe there is still that tide in them. I've washed them once or twice now with the country save....I will try one more time today with that. The rash is just about gone after using the buttpaste and the sposies. I hope today to try the organic inserts (and try them overnight.)
