If so, does the hutch get in the way of changing LO? We are looking into buying a changing table with a hutch, but may not include the hutch if it turns out to be a hindrance. TIA!

We attempted this (it's just a dresser with a hutch) for his changing table and I hated it! I had to be really careful not to hit his head when I picked him up. I definitely didn't use it for very long and after that we just used the changing station on the PNP. Now, we just lay him on a towel on our bed.
*I love the hutch that we bought with our furiture set, and definitely would still have bought it knowing I wouldn't use it as a changing station. Next time around I'm just going to get an actual changing table.
Eeek, that's kinda scary. I can see the head banging happening. I guess I can always take it down if I have any problems with it. Thanks for your input!!

Ours only had one removable shelf, and the others can't be taken off.
With as much peeing and pooing as Steven did when he was little when I changed him I'm pretty glad we didn't use this for very long. Our master bedroom wall is still stained.
I have a the same brand but the essex collection. H has never peed on me period let alone on the changing table. I've almost never gotten poo on the furniture. the changing pad, sure, but never the wood
