I've always lived in suburban Chicago. Moved a few times, but always in the 'burbs!
You should come to our next Chicagoland GTG!
I probably will! Last time it was at Woodfield, right? I seriously live less than 10 minutes from there
Yup, and it will be there next time, too. We're thinking the second weekend of April. PM me your e-mail address if you'd like me to keep you in the loop.
You got a PM in a hot minute!

Have lived (in order) in Sweden, Connecticut, South Carolina, Austin TX, and NYC. I would move back to Austin in a heartbeat.
I am trying to convince DH to move to Austin!
His company has a corporate office there and we could sell our house here and buy a mansion for the same cost! Then I could have 3 dogs and two cats. :-)
We were there in October and it was just killing me that he won't move there! He wants to stay close to his family, which is understandable. His company was headquartered in Dallas and I always said that there was no way I would move there. Then they were bought by an Austin company (I will give you one guess) and I am hoping they try to get him to work there. But that is super unlikely since his division is still based in Dallas.

I've taken that pic a few times...Go White Sox!
OMG - another Sox fan?!?! Woo Hoo!!
I can't wait for the season to start. I have a feeling about this year
yeah, I had a feeling about last year. here's hopin'! Can't wait for the season...they've looked okay so far in ST.
We have possibly the best starting rotation in baseball and if Beckham can avoid the sophomore slump and Alex Rios gets his a@@ in gear, we should be good to go!

DH wants to stay close to his family too. I love my MIL to death so I too understand but from my experience there I love it and the cost of living is SO desirable!
He said we can revisit the idea in a few more years and maybe MIL could move there with us!

Now I live in Austin, TX, which is where DH grew up. I'm from California originally. I lived in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Bakersfield, then Marina Del Rey. For a very short time, right before I moved to Austin I lived in Bullhead City, AZ.
I have always lived in NJ. A few different towns once I moved out of my parent's house, but always within a 10 mile radius. R and I now live in my home town, exactly 1 mile from the house I grew up in.
