I voted ob/gyn but I've only ever had one during my pregnancies.

this is TERRIBLE, but I have never gone to a doctor for one!

If you need fast pain relief, drink some arm & hammer in water ( tastes sh!tty, but works magically!)

I've never gone to either my OB or my Family Dr for a UTI. Both times I've had one I went to Medicall/Urgent care. You can go there without an appointment and be seen within 30 minutes of getting there usually (it's not an ER...it's for issues that aren't emergency enough for ER and quicker than getting an appt with the Dr). So that's where I've always gone for a UTI.

I didn't vote.

I've been known to call both my family doctor and my gynecologist when things like that arise. I'll make an appointment with whichever one can get me in soonest and/or fits my schedule best.

I'm kind of miffed because when I called my ob, the receptionist said that he doesn't see patients for uti's unless they're pregnant.  I ended up going to my fam dr.  He doesn't think I have a uti, but sent my urine off to be cultured.  He's not really sure what's going on; possible bladder spasms.  Goooood times.  I just wish I could have seen my ob.
