Anyone interested in reinstating the Friday lunch (11-1) GTGs at Central Market?  The weather should be nice enough from now till it gets too hot.  [Poll]

I won't be able to make them until school lets out for the summer...so I think they should be reinstated permanently and not just for the spring!

You'll get the side-eye from me, but only because I can't contain Luke that well anymore! 

ETA:  Libby too hot for me = late August.  So you'll at least have me and Luke to hang with for awhile!

can we rotate between CM and a central park like we talked about right before they were dropped?  CM is too expensive for me every week but i would love to join others gtg on Fridays.

I second this. It'd be nice to change it up every once in awhile.

A&A (abby & amy) can you suggest a central park?  I'm really clueless when it comes to Austin's parks.

There is Mueller Lake Park, which is where we are having the Easter GTG.  There is also another park in that area but I can not remember the name of it.  I know Taffy will remember, maybe she will chime in.  Taffy?!  Also Zilker is considered central.

Oh and for the summer GTGs, we can always move them to a sprinkler park or a pool.    There is a sprinkler park behind the Palmer Event Center and also some sprinklers at the Triangle.  (I have never been to those though)  And there are lots of Austin City pools.

Bartholomew Park is at 51st and Berkman.  It has some really nice playscapes for all ages.

Northwest District Park/Beverly Sheffield Park has two nice playscapes.  It's off Burnet.

Oooh, yes.  And I like Northwest Park/Pool in the summer because it has the baby pool and lots of shady spots to sit under the oak trees.

I really like this idea!!
