After AW here is something awful...

So last night I feel asleep with LO...our bed is situated right next to the bassinet with maybe a 3 inch gap in between...LO rolled out of my arms and was lodged between the bed and the bassinet laying on on the bed railing...im sick to my stomach thinking about how it could have been so much worse and am wondering if hes okay... i immediately felt him slide off and picked him up seconds after it happened...he never hit the floor but i worry he may have hit his head...hes been acting fine but my crazy imagination is going nuts...like hes been sleeping a while but i just read he should be up like 10 hours through out the day...can someone please reassure me hes going to be fine and what I would be observing had something been wrong? I feel like a terrible worthless mother for letting that happen...

You are not a terrible mother and I am sure he is fine but it is a good reminder for me to never fall asleep with LO.  Just take the lesson and move on.

You can always call your pedi. DS fell of the couch when he was a baby and when I called they told me what to look for. You're not a bad mom! Learn from it, and call it a day! We all make mistakes, the important thing is that you don't make the same mistake twice!
