Maybe, maybe not. U/S is the only way to know for sure. Congrats on your BFP, come join us if you find out there's more than one.
I agree. Mine were low and barely doubled, and I definitely had more than one cooking in there. An u/s is the only way to find out, but congrats on the BFP, and very exiciting if you do end up here!

my RE's office was thinking i probably had twins, as my beta was 970 at 10dp5dt, and 3050 two days later. AND the fact that we put 2 embies in... that was a clue.
a singleton can have higher betas, and even faster doubling. and twins can have low betas. but i do think (loose generalization) there is some correlation between likelihood of multiples with higher betas/doubling times.
My betas with the twins tripled in 48 hours and I clearly remember my mom joking that there were 2 babies but I never thought we'd actually see 2 on our u/s! : )
Re: Beta Tripled
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Congrats on your pregnancy!
Only an u/s will be able to tell you...but you never know!

Thanks everyone!! Just thought I would get perspective from all you lucky ladies!
My beta Mon was 954 (4w3d)
My beta Wed was 2929 (4w5d)
When the nurse called today with results she said Doc wants Ultrasound for me next week. So I am waiting for the scheduler to call me.
Good Luck Ladies!
Not neccesarily....
My betas doubled faster and were higher with this singleton than with my twins.
But sounds like you got a strong baby there, congrats!

Maybe, maybe not. Mine were high to begin with, but only doubled -- they never tripled in 48 hours.
Good luck to you!!
Congrats on your BFP!! Hope you have a great first u/s!
Please keep us posted!
