what are you craving today?

I want a crispy chicken sandwich from McDonald's like nobodys business right now.  I got one yesterday, so I feel bad about wanting fast food again... but it was just so delicious and satisfying.  Noon just isn't getting here quick enough for me to go to lunch!

Re: what are you craving today?

  • I already ate lunch!  I'm moving on to making chocolate chip cookies now.  I've been craving them for a while, but for some reason the HEB I shop at doesn't have the mix I like, so I'm having to resort to making them by scratch.
  • Loading the player...
  • macaroni salad.  that's the only thing that sounds ok right now.

Every time I crave something, I'll eat it for several meals in a row, and then I think I'll probably never eat it again.  last week was tator tots (gag), and I think macaroni salad has about run its course.

  • As I always say, the question is more, "What am I not craving?!" Funny that you mentioned crispy chicken though, because that's been at the top of the list. Fritos have also been sounding really good, but I'm trying to do better. We'll see how it goes when I go to the grocery store later today!

  • Jersey Mike's.  Which is where DH is right this very moment, hopefully not messing up my order because I'd hate to have to kill him.

  • I'm not pg, but craved a egg salad sandwich today!
  • Let's see - I don't have a specific craving now, but here are the ones I've had in the last week or so:

    Friday: milkshake

    Saturday: gummi bears

    Yesterday: queso

Actually, I think I'm still craving queso. Big Smile

  • Mmmm...a shrimp tempura roll from Maki...and a fountain coke.

    :-9

  • Honestly?  Silence, a nap, a clean house, 2 hours to myself with no other responsibilities, a massage...that would be better than any food.  I'd settle for a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich, though.
  • Nothing.  I feel like barfing what little I did eat today.  Ugh.

i agree with this!  all the things i used to love to eat (Trudy's tex mex) don't sound good at all anymore.  i have to think hard for something that sounds edible.  but when something finally does sound appetizing, i must have it!  the only thing that sounded good the other night was a baked potato.  i went to the store and bought one single potato and waited an hour and 1/2 for it to bake.  then i remembered i could have gone to Wendy's and bought one  for a dollar!

You can also poke one full of holes with a fork, and throw it in the microwave for 6 minutes or so...not quite as good as oven baked, but works in a pinch.  I lived on potatoes in the 1st trimester....
