Since there are a bunch of carseat posts. . .

I know this is probably legal, but it still bugs me.

One of DD's classmates has been arriving to school in a 2-seater convertible.  I know it's not the only car in the family because they drove something different in the winter.

He's in a backless booster in the front seat (well, the only seat). . . I'm not sure if he's 3 or 4, but he's a lot smaller than DD (who just turned 4).

Ugh.

  • A backless booster? I'm more concerned about this aspect than the car being a convertible. I think riding in the front is fine as long as the passenger airbag is turned off.
  • This is legal in my state, since there is only one other position in the car.  The booster part depends on the child's weight, but some are 30 pounds, which most 3-4 year olds are, though not mine.

Yeah, I figured it was probably legal because it was the only available position in the car.  He just looks so little!
