90th Percentile!

I had an u/s today to check the placenta (it looked great, by the way--it was low-lying before, so a vaginal birth is in order!) and the baby is measuring a week ahead. The doc said he is in the 90th percentile and will be 8 1/5 - 9 lbs if I go to 40 weeks! Anyone else with big babies out there?? I am just a happy mama today!!

I was told my LO was in the 84th percentile. Not sure how much I actually trust those estimates though. I'll just see when he gets here.

my little girl was 6lbs5oz at 36 weeks! she's gunna be huge if we make it to (or past) 40 weeks! she's 70th percentile.

I dont' know about this one but DD was 8lb 12oz when born & has remained in the 90th to 95th percentile since she was born. She's 19 months old and at her 18 mo. check up they told me she's the size of the average 2 & 1/2 year old! (This explains why my 1 & 1/2 year old is in 2T pants and 3T tops...urgh.)

They didn't give me a percentile on Monday but he's estimated at 7 lb 14 oz as of right now...he'll be around 9 lbs if I go full term even if the u/s measured a little big (which a lot of them do).

Wow! That is big!  They never tell me how big my LO is when I go to the OB.  I have an appt today, maybe I will ask, because now I am curious.  I am expecting him to be on the bigger side due to genetics   We come in L and XL in this family!

DS weighed 7lbs 2oz at my 34w growth u/s.

I was induced at 38w exactly (pre-e) and he was 9.5lbs and 21.5in.  2 weeks early.

This baby is measuring ahead of where DS was at this point.

I'm scared.

I had a growth u/s toward the end of my 26th week (almost a month ago).  LO was measured in the 95th percentile and her estimated weight was 2 lbs 11oz.  Holy big baby girl!

36 weeks 3 days my baby was in the 90 percentile!  They said he weighed then about 8 lbs!  Next week is my c-section so we will see how right they were and how big he has gotten!
