Baby Hammock

Anyone used one of these? ?I was looking at the Amby baby hammocks, and noticed the weight limit is 99lbs... I'm wondering if Seth would go for it? We tried side carring the crib to the bed but he's not buying it. He sleeps on my chest still and is worn for all naps, I wonder if he would be comfy in a hammock??

Re: Baby Hammock

  • I looked at them when DS was younger, but that was right around the time they were recalled, so that scared me out of it.

I thought the weight limit was 20 lbs? Is there another model?

  • Loading the player...
  • 99 lbs must be a typo...
  • hmm didn't realize it was recalled... scrap that idea then! ?
  • There are AWESOME hammocks on the market. The amby is the one I've been least impressed with in my research

    Try:

Hushamok: much more affordable now that you can use ceiling hardware and don't need to purchase a stand; also now completely organic

Miyo: My personal fave, but hard to get your hands on

    Nature's Sway: Similiar to Miyo

Kanoe: you can actually rent the Kanoe for about $40 a month so you can try it out/return when baby outgrows. These look pretty large though

I LOVE the benefits of a hammock, friends swear by them. Let me know which one you go with, I've been trying to find a gently used Miyo with no luck yet!
