Going on vacation without the kids...

DH and I are leaving tomorrow for a little trip without the kids.  I'm excited to get to spend the time with him, but I know I'll miss my babies!  We've left them before with grandparents, just never for this long.  I have their schedule written out, their insurance cards/pediatrician, their favorite things to sleep with...is there anything you would make sure to leave or information to pass along?  Both of our parents have cribs/highchairs/all the necessary stuff, so that makes it pretty easy.  I'm trying not to leave too much info, but I want it to be as easy as possible on their grandparents (staying with my parents for 3 days and then DH's for 3 days).

Thanks!

  • have a great time! We left DD for a week last year w/ grandma and grandpa. I'm not sure if we had a better time or her! Just know that your parents will take great care of the kids. I wouldn't leave anything else, grandparents have a way of knowing just what to do.
