Poll about your kid(s)

What is one thing your child(ren) do really well, that you're really proud of them for.

What is something you wish your child(ren) would do better?

Re: Poll about your kid(s)

  • Olivia:   skates really well (pretty athletic all around).   I wish she would listen better:)

Natalie:  she is still growing - that is all that matters to me:)

  • DD can spell lots of words!  I wish she'd tone down the verbal diary

DS is good at climbing.  I wish he wasn't a runner and would stay with mommy better

DS2 is good at going between the bottle and BFing.  I wish he'd STTN

  • Joey - he's super coordinated and strong.  He can climb and do things that surprise me sometimes.

What I wish he would do better --- Joey LIVES for making other people laugh (he was doomed....Joe and I are the same way!).  But it often gets him in trouble.  So I wish he would learn to determine "right time/right place" better when he decides to be the comedian!

Cam -- she is amazingly polite.  Her first words, at 11 months old, were thank you.  And that has been a continued trend.

What I wish she would do better --- you would think that with a vocabulary starting out at 11 months, she would USE HER WORDS more!  She whines/cries ALL.THE.TIME!

  • Douglas - It is hard to say, he is just Douglas, he has this thing about him, his personality that just gets people, a huge heart and is very caring. Wish he did better, I wish he listened to me better, and would not zone out as much.

John Michael, is the most loving little boy, he is caring and gives the best hugs, he is great with music and can recognize most classic rock songs when they start on the radio, tell me who sings them etc.

Do better I wish he could self calm better. He gets upset and fixated on things and it is hard to center him

Kalie Rose- Can draw very well, she just seems to be a great artist and sees things in a different light than most.

Do Better- Be less shy, she is painfully shy and does not speak up in school.

  • I am pretty proud of DS picking up the PTing thing really quickly and minimal accidents the first week training. (this is the most recent accomplishment)

I wish he would listen better, as in- not running off from me when out in public, not chasing the dog, not back talking (already!).... "listening" about covers it all. LOL :)

  • My DD is outstanding at communicating with people.  She is very good at talking to adults and other children.  She is very well behaved in public all most all the time.

I wish she could stop the whine at home.

DS is not quite one, he is just cute, happy, and good natured.

I wish DS would be better about taking a sip cup and stop eating me.

  • DD is a pretty smart kid - has a mind like a trap. I wish she would listen better. If she's not in the mood to listen - it's miserable.

DS is just a happy kid all the way around. I wish he would sleep past 6 a.m.

  • Kate:  she is really observant and smart.  The things she notices and says blow my mind.  I wish she was not so fearful of stairs and heights and had more "try" in her--she gives up very easily.

Ben:  his is just so sweet and happy.  He is so psyched to see you always and loves life.  I wish he would sleep past 5 am (even with daylight savings time!)

  • Ethan can read and he is getting really good at understanding math/logic (K and some g-1 books). He's also awesome on his scooter.

J is talking more and more every day and cracks me up non-stop.

Ethan could listen better......  I am lucky if he hears me from the first time more than once a day. That's my never-ending wish.

J is not yet two..... but I really hope he would stop falling everywhere and bumping into things.

  • He's a super social, witty little communicator.  I wish he was more interested in sitting down and drawing or writing but he's very much left handed and we're trying to help him learn how to use his left hand to do so.  He's not hyper per se, but he's too busy to sit still and draw, etc.

  • Ani - she is sensitive to other people, she is very verbal and great with letters and beginning stages of reading.  I would love for her to not go from calm and awesome to crazy and psychotic within seconds... but then again, she has my temper... so who's to blame?

Baby Girl in the Belly - she is growing like crazy and adorable with the hiccups... but she could stay away from putting pressure on my back and plan to give me a great easy quick birth!

  • Winnie:  plays w/ her sisters, is super artistic

had a longer attention span, listened better

Tess:  she has a knack for music, is sensitive & loving

handle trials & adversity better (she is a huge whiner & cries all the time)

    Merryn:  happy, sweet & friendly

                 sleep!!!
