I've raised three confident, authentic children using this method. It's taught me so much about respect for my babies as human beings and made parenting a much more pleasant, less stressful adventure. Not sure if we're supposed to be pitching here but there are two places to learn more -- RIE.org, and JanetLansbury.com (my teacher!).

It really takes the edge off parenting, and I only wish I'd found RIE during the first 3 months of my first daughter's infancy, when I really felt totally at sea.
