ETA: I'm teasing. I mean he begs to go to childcare when we're home.
Don't feel guilty about having your child in daycare while you are off - your child likes it from what you said and a happy mommy makes for happy kids/family. Everyone deserves some "me" time. I don't do it often but I always enjoy my "me" days and don't feel guilty. On my me days I take them in a little later and pick them up a little later but my kids love school and miss their friends and they are like me and thrive on routine. I am happier when I get some me time in, even a few hours to do what I want to do like get my nails done or shop or honestly, clean house/go through old toys/etc with no one around to help me - that goes for not having DH there too!!!
