Wait. There are states with drive thru liquor stores??

I use to bartend at a bar in ND that has one..it was great (except for when I would go & close the window & stand up to fast & hit my head....)

They also have a place here that has a drive through for frozen margaritas etc. It comes wrapped in cellophane. It's called Eskimo Hut or something like that.

There was a place like this in College Station when we lived there for grad school.  I thought people were joking when I first heard about it.

LOL.  Good luck - we're apparently not even responsible enough to be allowed to buy alcohol on Sundays here.  Or in supermarkets.  Horrors! Wine at the Cub Foods - we're all gonna die!!!!!!

I really miss this about living in Ohio.  Grown-ups are allowed to be grown-ups.

why the "ugh"? man, I wish we had something like that here. not that I would crack open a beer while driving, but it would be nice not have to lug nathan into a store to grab milk, bread and a bottle of wine.

And i don't understand what is "klassy" about a drive through smoke shop.. I know smoking is frowned upon... but I don't get it.....?

just because you don't use it, doesn't mean it wouldn't be convienant for others..

I know, right. The way they get around "promoting drinking and driving" is that it's legal to drive around with them, but if you've put the straw in it, you're in trouble. ::eyeroll::

 

scotch tape over the straw hole = closed container. 

In high school when the drinking age was still 18 you got the 18 year old to drive and buy one from each shop for each underage passenger in the car!

There's a package store with a drive thru window just down the street.  (Atlanta, GA).
