I know there have been past posts, but I can't find them when I search... so feel free to include a link if you have different luck.
I have no idea where to start, there are so many and I have no idea what to look for.
Here are my parameters:
Live in Cedar Park, near lakeline mall, work downtown
Delivering at St. Davids on Parmer
Friends have rec'd:
Kelly Thurston with Lonestar Pediatrics (or rather, her pedi down south rec'd her)/
Kibbe Miller at Pediatric Associates of Austin
Please give me some other recs (with the pros and cons) and a way to decide...
Thanks!
Re: Pediatrician Help
I meant Thorstad
If you're looking at Pediatric Associates, I loved Dr. Hargrave. Unfortunately when we moved it became kind of a drive. Now we see Dr. Cepeda at Jollyville Pediatrics and I think she's great too.
eta: And as I pushed submit I was like "oh I should include more of the pro/con thing"
So, as far as PA - pros are that they are very friendly, make you feel totally comfortable being a neurotic parent (as I am, haha), nice facilities, etc. cons are that they charge an extra yearly fee.
Jollyville Pediatrics - one pro is that it is very "hands on" care. If you need help after hours you talk to the doctor herself, not some nurse that is hired specifically to handle after hours calls that you never meet otherwise. con - I'm not a huge fan of their nurse, she's not terrible or anything, but she kind of rubs me the wrong way sometimes.
Yep.
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
This.
That's what I figured - I'm not too concerned, I imagine they'll have something worked out for her maternity leave
That is so cute!!
Married and it feels so good!
