Took DS to ENT after getting another double EI. Still has fluid but his hearing is also suffering. It's normal for an adult but not for a kid his age. It's gonna be on Monday and I'm kinda nervous.

Wow, you got in fast. We went to the ENT on the 2nd and Caroline's tubes are going in next Thursday.

Bleh.  It seems like you're not cool unless you have tubes. Sorry he has to go through this.  Hope the procedure goes smoothly and he recovers quickly!

I hope it goes well.  Tubes really do help stop them from being in so much pain.  It's worth it!  Please keep us posted!

Yeah. We asked to get in ASAP because our insurance is changing April 1st. Right now insurance covers it all. After April first we have deductibles and co-insurance to worry about. Thanks for all the well wishes. I know it's for the best. I'm just gonna hate when they take him back to put him under. He's going to be so scared. Also what is the recovery time for tube? Will he be back in daycare by Wednesday?

Teagan was up and running later that day (they did it first thing in the morning).  Youngest kids go first since they have to fast.  He slept a lot once we got home but was fine by dinner!
