I didn't have this with my first so I'm a little concerned.

Since last night I've been having excess discharge- but not the normal kind- more watery and it can feel like im peeing it sometimes. Its not a constant stream. With my first DD my water just broke ( at 35 weeks) and I never leaked. Im a little afraid this is amniotic fluid leaking... anyone else have discharge like this? I go to the dr thursday and will check with him if it doesnt stop. Oh no cramps or anything either.

I've had this a little bit... is the discharge clear? Are you sure it's not urine?

As odd as it sounds, smell it.  If it smells sweet, and not like normal CM, go in and be checked.  However, in both of my prior pregnancies in the 2nd tri, I got to the point of needing to change my underwear twice a day! My friend was 3x per day!!

I have that! Runny discharge....yuck!

I've heard that if its amniotic fluid it will fill a pad or panty liner even when laying down! Do you think it's that much?

Personally, I would probably just ask at your appt. on Thursday.

I would call the doctor just to check-- he or she will be able to tell you what to look for to distinguish it from discharge or amniotic fluid. I know that once I got into the second trimester I was always so moist, soaking through my panties everyday. So now, I constantly wear pantyliners day and night.

I have it too!  It started to increase around 25w or so and made me very nervous.  But all is well still (or at least I hope!)

...then it's amniotic fluid...but you can call and ease your mind as well.

I have smelled it, it doesnt have much of an odor to be honest. It has been enough to soak through my pants (was out of pantyliners that day). I guess I just worry because I did have the early labor with DD and doc has me on progesterone injections weekly to keep this LO in a little longer.

I have that sometimes, but it varies day by day.  I think if you've "sprung a leak" it would stay constant...maybe keep an eye on it for the rest of the day and if it doesn't let up call and check.

I remember when my water broke with DD sitting there smelling it for about 10 minutes cause I was wondering if I peed or in labor.... lol

TMI but I've had a lot of discharge w/ this pregnancy.  For a long while it was white and stringy and there was a ton of it and it was a bacterial infection I had to get medicine for, so it could be anything.  When I told my new dr. about discharge I was having he made me come in so he could check because he said 'with pregnancy, discharge can be a lot of different things' so he wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious I guess!
