CD1, IUI cycle

Well girls, wish me luck.

AF showed today, so here we go with an injectibles IUI. 

First, I have to pass FSH bloodwork. Last time it was checked, in January, it actually went down a smidge, so I'm hopeful. I'm waiting for a call back from the RE's office, but I assume this will happen tomorrow.

This is the one and only ART proceedure my DH is willing to do, since the docs say our odds are poor. So, it's just going to have to work!

    As my RE said, you could be in the small percentage it works for - someone's gotta be!  You could be our next success story like Ms. Kario!

    Will you're RE do the IUI regardless of FSH number?

    Yup, I agree with Franny.  As with all percentages, someone always goes against the odds.  I'm praying that you defy the odds.

    Thanks for the thoughts, prayers and positive thinking, my friends!

    Franny - Unfortunately, if my FSH is too high, my RE won't do the IUI. Last time, it had actually gone down a little bit, to 15 from 17.5. I decided not to go ahead with the IUI then because my cycles hadn't quite come back to normal after the m/c, and if this is my one chance w/ IUI, I wanted to feel good about it. All is normal now! 

    What my RE said was if it gets "much over 20" he won't go through with it. Nor will he keep testing for a "better" month to do it. So, I'm hoping it stays at 15 or better. 

    Kiki: Your wedding is just around the corner! You must be SO excited!!

    Crossing my fingers for 1st a good FSH test and then a BFP!!!  I think this is the one for you Joyful!

    GL!  Beware that it's addicting.  I said only one and ended up with three.  I probably would have done two more since it was my first one on injectables.

    Listen up high FSH......SCRAM, you owe it to Joyful!

    Good luck, Good luck, Good luck.........I think that March/April is a super fertile time, so I predict you will be ku'd this cycle.  

    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.
