Tongue thrust?

    DH and I both had tongue thrust issues, and we have noticed that DS is doing it, too. For all of us it wasn't/isn't as much an issue with eating as cosmetic/orthodontic (basically when we swallow out tongues push out against out front middle teeth). I went to a speech therapist in middle school (around the same time as my braces) and did some simple exercises to help rectify it - I think DH did the same. They did some type of swallow test to see exactly where my tongue was pushing - I remember that.

    Anyway, I was planning on asking the dentist whe we took DS for his first appointment. I think it is a pretty common thing, though.
