What are you hoping to get for Mothers day?

DH asked me for ideas and I don't know what to suggest. I was thinking of maybe a personalized necklace charm of my daughters name but not sure. What do you want? Have you came across anything personal or unique?

I want 24 hours at a hotel by myself.  I don't want room service, i dont need anything fancy... just a vending machine will do.  I just want 24 hours to sleep and recharge... is that bad?

My first mother's day was a crushing disappointment.  I didn't want stuff, just to do something fun with DH and DD.  He was supposed to get up with her and let me sleep in, he didn't and it rained so we did nothing.  After that I made it explicitly clear... every year on mother's day, I want to sleep in.  And then I want to go get professional family photos,  I make the appointment. I get to decide what everyone wears.  And he comes along and pretends he's happy about it.    I love it!

I know, I have been saving all the tutorials for bibs and dresses on the craft thread. I want to get started soon! I'm going to start with an old sewing machine that was my MIL's, then if I'm good at it, I will get a new one for Christmas. Good luck to you!

I love this idea! Oh and my anniversary is 7-14, but 2007!!

I am getting a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet that you can personalize with different charms.  We call DS Bumblebee so the first charm I want is a bee, but we'll see if DH gets that one.  I know he already got the bracelet (I was with him when he bought it), but the first charm is a surprise.

The best gift I ever received was a Mother's ring from www.nelleandlizzy.com.  It is the most treasured possession I have!  It is a three band silver ring with the names of my three boys on each band.  I wear it everyday and I love it because it makes me smile every time I look at it.  I didn't post a pic because I couldn't figure out how (I am new to this ~ can you tell?)  But there is a pic on my gallery page if you want to take a peek at what one looks like.
