I'm researching a gift that I want to get for DHs 30th bday and I don't want him to know about it!! How do I delete those pages from the history just in case he sees it?
I know to click on history and delete them, but is there another way to see the history??

Re: How to delete internet history?
Firefox
ETA: I don't want to delete everything b/c that might seem suspicious and I don't want to lose some cookies! I just want to delete the certain pages that are for his bday present.
IE 7: on the right side there's a "safety" tab. Press that and then the first option is delete browsing history. Or you can press Control, Shift and Delete at the same time.
Firefox: History on the top left. Then Show all History and then Organize on the top of the new window and delete.
Chrome: Control and H together for history and then "delete history for this day" for whatever day you want to delete.

Me too... Go to Tools -- Clear Recent History
and to be extra safe: Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" (this will delete your temporary internet files saved to your hard drive)
ETA: I just saw your ETA... not sure how to go about selective deletion.
