sooooo how do i know she doesn't like rice cereal?  does that sound silly? i just read some posts saying some kids didn't like rice cereal, but since it's new to her, how many times do i try?

I read an article that said it often takes as many as ten attempts at offering a food before you can be sure that your child does not like it.

We tried it almost every day for 2 weeks and she would take one bite then refuse to open her mouth again. We tried oatmeal and she couldn't get enough..she was diving at the spoon.

This. G usually does a really dramatic gag when she does not like something. She will also shut her lips really tight so I can't get the spoon in.

You can also try making it differently. Meredith would NOT eat cereal if I mixed it with breastmilk. She'd get this horrified look on her face like "OMG - what did you do to my milk???" but she'd chow down on it if I mixed it with formula. Go figure.
