Using carseats without the base

Has anyone does this? How do you do it?

I would look in the manual but it is in the car with the bases, lol.

We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 and it has pics on the side of how to install w/o the base.  It is really easy and we have done it multiple times.

I am not able to use my carseat without the base.  You should make sure that you can use yours without the base.

I know our britax seat has loops that you slide the belt through. We do it all the time since we just have one base.

If your carseat can be used without the base there should be instructions on the side.

Most car seat manufacturers actually offer viewing of their manuals via their web pages.

if you're unsure how to do it, or if it can even be done with your model, check their website. it should have all the info you need
