after a horrible night, teagan's ear drum burst and out came the tube.  i had posted that maybe the tube was dislodged OR he had an infection.  turns out both

so now we are headed off to the pedi for that issue, a new referral since our ent retired and to talk about asthma / apnea / adenoid surgery and then we'll be in with the new ent this afternoon.  i have a feeling they are going to bump up his surgery to be asap so they can go in and do everything at once.  even though surgery is not ideal for this week (dh goes out of town friday) we'd prefer to only put teagan under once due to his trachea issues.

i told dh last night that i feel like the only peace we had was the hour after teagan was born, and then he stopped breathing and we've been hovering, worrying, coping, always on edge, every minute after that.

dude, that sucks about 2 things at once in his ear.  I think you are right in having it all done at once to minimize being put under.  I'll be thinking about you and Teagan.  <<hugs>>

I would only one to deal with one surgery too, if at all possible.

oh wow. poor teagan! my eardrum has burst 2x and it was the most painful thing ever, right up there w/childbirth! I hope he has some relief now and hope he can get every thing fixed quickly and relatively painless-ly. i seriously hope it all gets better for you and everyone soon!?

Sorry he's dealing with that.  My friend had her daughters adenoids removed and it made a big difference for her.  Hopefully he can get some relief soon!!

Ugh, I just feel so bad for my little man.  I hate that he's in so much pain all the time   His ear was draining green last night but today there is quite a bit of blood coming out too   We just got back from the pedi appointment with some new asthma meds, ear drops and an antibiotic.  He'd like us to hold off on surgery until April if we can stand it....but Teagan may have to suffer through some ear infections to get through that long   I'm just not sure what to do....will get more info from the new ent in a few hours.
