Anyone do anything exciting? News to share?
I was on bedrest Friday and Saturday, so I did absolutely nothing! I was cleared to go on my normal business on Sunday, but DH was very cautious. We went to mass early, came back to watch a movie (where I napped). Then we went out for a quick lunch, and DH went off to play golf. I told him I had intentions of going to Target for a little bit (have things to return), and he got all upset! LOL He's really being protective of me, which I suppose is good, but frusterating when I want to get on w/ my routine! LOL

i didn't realize the weekend was over... i'm exhausted. The thing is, it's not even Sarah who is keeping us up... it's Abby!! She was up last night from 1 am until 4:30 am crying. I mean, BAWLING her eyes out. I think it's the canines pushing through, but she also has this weird cough, and she's all about her daddy, so that combination is making it reeeeeally hard to get her to go to sleep. Dinner is also an epic battle. Pete and I haven't even slept in the same room together since we got home from the hospital because Abby is screaming and crying so loud, it wakes Sarah up in our bedroom, so she sleeps in her pack n play in the family room with Pete on the couch the first half of the night and me on the couch the second. Abby can scream and cry all she wants, but I won't have it wake Sarah up!
oh, and then yesterday my family and my ils showed up (at different times) and threw off everyone's schedule and none of us (me, p or a) got a chance to nap.
i'm not cranky, i swear i'm not! i'm just tired and that was my weekend :-D lol I'm just hoping Abby adjusts soon!!
nothing interesting this weekend but I wanted to ask you...so when can you test or are you just going to go in for a Beta...I want to know so that I can countdown the days with you-lol

Jen - Hope the house goes back to normal real soon, and Abby settles down and feels better. ::hugs:: Can you set up a "Visiting Hours Schedule"? I know this probably sounds better in theory.
V - My beta is next Monday! Crazy. DH is already calculating as to when I can test at home... he says we can test Friday, but I'm so nervous, that is only 4 days away! And can I say you have me nervous about your b/g twin sighting?! Are your thoughts nornally correct?

My weekend kinda sucked. I wasn't feeling well (not sure if it was emotional or physical) but I couldn't get off the couch. I'm definitely just waiting for tomorrow to be over. We did take Alexis to the Disney Live show yesterday which was ok, it was kind of small compared to others i've seen, but she loved it. Some guy knocked her over while we were walking around, I almost bit his head off - can you say on edge?

Oh Leanna, you vent all you want! Hope tomorrow goes by quickly, and you have a very speedy recovery. ::hugs::
Where was the Disney show? I saw a lot of FB friends attending, and I hadn't heard about it... is it still on? I'd love to take niece and godson.

My best friend is pg w/ twin boys now (due in July), and we were talking about it for the longest yesterday. She wants me to have twins too! LOL And we have another friend going through IVF right now, and can you imagine all three of us pg w/ twins?! CRAZY. LOL
Anyway, as long as we get one healthy baby, we are more than happy... and if the blessing comes in two, even more blessed! : )

In spite of this cold, I had a great weekend. Very much a "girlie time" weekend. Saturday night movie and dinner @ Cinebistro with my sister, SIL, and some friends. Sunday I went with my SIL to see Wicked. I barely saw DH! LOL. Sophie spent as much time with us as possible - which freed DH to start "clean sweeping" his office closet so we can start the musical rooms as we decide where the new baby is going to go. I just switched my doc appt from Thursday to today...I have a nasty cold and pain so I think I have a sinus infection. I have not taken a thing besides Vicks Vaporub and need some relief.
Jackie - I am so impatient for you! LOL. I am constantly looking for updates and stalked your blog yesterday. Boy/Girl twins would be cool! Scary...yes. But so cool! But I hear ya, one healthy baby would be a huge blessing all by itself.

Our weekend was very nice to say the least. Alex didn't sleep a wink on Saturday, so I couldn't study. He was up from 6am till about 5:30 when I gave up and just put him in his crib and let him cry. Sunday Mario decided it was time to stop giving Alex bottles and I broke down crying! I even took a picture of the last time we would ever sterilize bottles! So my little man is officially off bottles and is doing great! I'm just so sad, even right now thinking about it. My oldest is 5 and Alex is 1 and there are no more babies
Sunday, we headed to the mall to get Alex his first hair cut (another crying session from me), but I refuse to wait over an hour and pay $20 for a trim. So if you guys have recs. for a hair cut place that isn't a zoo, please do share.

Oh Brig, I'm so sorry Alex was fussy Saturday, but hope he's doing better. Not sure where you are located, but SIL takes nephew/niece to a children haircut place by the Falls, which she says is pretty good. If you want, I can get you more details?
As for finding out... well, since I already told you all what day it is, then prob right away! LOL Even though we told all family and friends (which are super desperate to know) that it would be the end of the week (wanted to be able to see doubling betas). : )

On top of the usual 1st tri m/s and exhaustion, I'm dealing with a horrendous cough. DH was on a business trip for five days. The kicker is it was only supposed to be two. I didn't think he'd ever make it home, but he finally did late last night. So glad to have him home.
I hope everyone has a good day, even if the weekend wasn't so great!

Our weekend was good but very short. It basically consisted of working on the house. The tiling guy is doing a great job, but he's so slow. It's still going to take a few more days for him to finish. Other than that, we have some guys applying stucco to the exterior to make the walls even and fresh. However, our house looks like a clown house at the moment because we tested at least 6 different colors on the facade. We've pretty much narrowed it down to what we want, but we're not 100% sure. I just can't wait to move in!!!
I am in he waiting game to have this baby, 37 weeks and 6 days, I am just not comfortable anymore
I had a very busy weekend, Saturday I had Ramsey's 2nd Bday party at Dandy Bear, he had a lot of fun but I ended up super tired, Sunday I dedicated the whole day trying to finish the getting ready for the new baby, I have and induction scheduled for 3/30/2010, but I can and I hope that I go into labor before, I don't think I can make it that long LOL.
Jackie: I am praying for you, I hope you get your BFP, and I agree with Virginia I were you I would wait to test after Friday , Good Luck.
I had an awesome and exhausting weekend. We went out Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. It was so nice and relaxing - and quite yummy too. ILs watched Lynda overnight so we even got to sleep in Saturday morning. Saturday we then went out house hunting for the first time and found two really great places. They are a little over our budget but we might be able to get them in budget with a little negotiating. It's a little nerve wracking but exciting at the same time. Yesterday we got a lot done around the house and went to the park to play.
I wish I had one more day to relax a little more - but at least I have spring break coming up soon and for that I am thankful that I'm a teacher.
Personally jackie I'm excited to hear but I say do what you both feel most comfortable with. Many prayers for you both. I can say that I don't have the same feeling as Virginia but I do feel you both will end up with a girl. We shall see who guesses right. lol
As for this weekend, not much has really taken place. I spent all Fri evening doing my fertility yoga, Sat cleaned & installed the safe, met up with Ellie and Carlos at Ikea and went to dinner afterwards. Sun I went to spend time with my mom/little brother and worked out. We had lunch and I spoiled my brother by surprising him with coldstones.
I must say he was in his chocolate heaven. So that's about it.
I thought about you all weekend Jackie. Praying for those babies to stick!!!
My weekend was good. It was really busy. I had parties Friday and Saturday night. Saturday morning I had to go a a baptism preparation class and yesterday I spent the day cleaning the house.
Jackie, I have been thinking about you non-stop! I am praying that those babies stick. I am guessing that you are going to end up with twin boys
My weekend was pretty tame. Nothing that exciting, I went to the movies, had the family over for dinner on Saturday and yesterday my back was acting up so I stayed in most of the day.
