Clicky Poll: Induction Date.... (LONG)

I will have to schedule an induction date, due to my GD.  Although I'm diet-controlled only, and as of 34w, LO was measuring in the 50th percentile, they won't let me go much past 40 weeks due to the GD/potential placenta degradation.

I have my last growth u/s tomorrow, and then my BPP and OB/GYN appt on Wednesday, and my DR will likely want to schedule the "induction date" as either 3/25 (39w5d) or 3/30 (40w3d). 

If LO is measuring "normal sized"- they'll probably leave the date decision up to me and DH... although, I'm not sure which we would choose- because although I want LO to "bake" as long as possible, my absolute last day of work would be 3/24 and I'd like to have as much time with him as possible.... not to mention, I'm getting increasingly less comfortable and swollen, etc. 

Note: I *am* showing progress, as of last Wednesday I was 1.5cm and 60% effaced.

well I understand that, obviously.  My point was- unless LO comes out on his own prior to whichever induction date is scheduled (and MUST be scheduled, due to the GD), I *WILL* be induced.

My question was just about which induction date we should choose, pending that everything is "normal" and LO is healthy and what not....
