New to The Bump

New to The Bump

Hi, I am new. My DH of 5 years and I are TTC our first. I have been off BC since December and was visited by AF January 25th. I had two negative tests, but I am fatigued, nauseous, bloated, and weeks late.  I am hoping I am, if I don't get AF or a BFP by the time I am two months without AF, should I opt for a blood test? Has anyone had a couple negative urine tests and still been pregnant?

Re: New to The Bump

  • You'll probably get better answers on the Trying to Get Pregnant board.  I know that your AF can be all ove the place after getting off BC.    HPT's are pretty accurate if you've missed a period but there is always the small chance of a false negative.   A trip to the OB would be wise if you want to know why your cycle is irregular and also get a beta draw.

All the symptoms you noted could either be signs of pregnancy or signs AF is on her way.

Babies on the brain is another great board.  However, I would lurk (alot) before I'd post over there.  See if BOTB is a good fit.  The board has people thinking about TTC, actively TTC, pregnant and so on.  Good luck!

  • A blood test wouldn't hurt.  I had a BFN a few days before I got my BFP even though I would have been quite a few weeks pregnant.
