I'm so lonely!

Yeah, I will admit it! X and I haven't been together for almost 8 months now, and have I been on a date or even talked to a guy as more than friends?...NO!

I'm 20, and I'm definitely not looking looking for the same thing as most people my age. I don't want to be with a guy that parties and goes out every weekend. If I'd wanted that then I would have stayed with X! I work at a bar, and it is such a turn-off to see guys getting drunk and being stupid.

It sucks...a lot. In order to find a guy that is looking for the same thing I am, I have to go with someone quite a few years older, and to them I'm too young!

Okay I just had to vent/complain a little bit!

Yeah - I'm 20 and I'm in the same boat as you are. I try not to lead with my age. I haven't been with anyone romantically since May of last year. So I'm pretty sick of being alone sometimes!

Yeah X and I broke up at the end of July and haven't been with anybody since! I spent 5 years in a horrible relationship and I just want to be with someone that treats me the way that I deserve, and that I'm happy with! I live in a town of about 9,000 people so everyone knows eachother, and 3/4 of the people are over the age of 50 so there's not many to choose from! haha

I am right there with you. I'm younger, still pregnant, and already find myself missing the wonderfullness that is a guy. And I know that I won't be able to find a guy my age-ish who is okay with me having a child and is ready to settle. Sometimes, I think, the best thing to yourself is simply that boys suck. But hopefully if we just hang in there a while, that one in a million will come along. Keep your chin up!!

It isn't a fun feeling to be lonely-in fact I avoid it at all costs.  I pretty-much fill all of my evenings with spending time with DS and family or friends.  I hate that empty lonely feeling.  Lucky for me, XH was gone for the most part from the time I got pg to when I left him so I was used to being alone.

im only 18 but it does get lonely being pregnant & not having anyone there! =( i actually been single since july 2007. me & baby daddy were really good friends and one day got drunk you know the deal after that thats what we were "just friends" i wouldnt be with him EVER b/c i know how he is! & unfortunally im pretty sure i wont find anyone anytime soon! so single & lonely it is! also watching my bff with her BF upsets me b/c im lonely!

I'm loney too. My x became way to possessive in the past year and I wanted out and I didn't know how, but when I found out I was pregnant he told me to get rid of it, then he bacame all happy and wanted to make plans for our future, but the damage was done, and how could I be with someone who wanted me to get rid of it and treat me like I was nothing.  I got out of the relationship because I knew it was best for my baby and me. I felt it kick yesterday and I started to cry because I know that these small moments are only happening to me and I'm alone in this.

But I have my family and they help me and rub my tummy. They make me feel special and they don't say I'm too young.
