I know there are tons of stroller post on here and I love reading them because they are helpful but it stresses me out LOL
Since we have Ds, who is a healthy boy at 30lbs, ideally I want a double stroller that both seats fully recline but will also last with his weight limit. The Kolcraft tanden has a weight limit of 40lbs so thats out because ds will probably outgrow it soon. And then I wonder how much longer will he actually need a stroller? another year?
So then I thought maybe a tandem stroller with one seat recline and then a lightweight like Graco or chicco side by side where both seats fully recline
AAAHHHH!!!!!
Am I slowly driving myself crazy!?
I love love the double city mini...but not the price: / I have to wonder if our families would in together on it for us?
thanks for listening to my craziness!!! lol
Re: omg dbl strollers are overwhelming!
Keep in mind- as big as your DS is now- his growth will slow down a LOT in the next year... my first son was HUGE and heavy at that age - and then just grew taller and thinned out a lot form 2-3y/o and has really not put on a lot of weight, just height.... and nothing like he did the first year - that first year is crazy with growth- 2nd isn't so bad.
i would want 2 full reclines so you can use it with the twins as babies.
the Valco Trimode Twin + toddler seat is ideal for your situation - but very pricey - i would keep an eye out every day on craigslist. that is where i got mine. Craigslist is great for any stroller you are looking for- just keep checking.
Ditto Goldie on your son's growth. It will probably take him a while to hit 40 lbs.
We have the City Mini and love it. We put a $150 BRU GC toward it which helped (plus a 20% off coupon).
