Are you EPing? Or are you pumping after feeding LO? If you are pumping after feeding 3 oz is actually pretty good. If you are EPing there are several things you can do, like pp said pumping more often will help. Also make sure you are drinking a ton of water. Oatmeal for breakfast helps, and you can make lactation cookies. There are also herbs you can take, fenugreek and blessed thistle usually work best when taken together or you can get More Milk Plus which has them both in it. GL

A stowaway on board!
If you are EPing... your baby is having a 6 wk growth spurt right now and if you were nursing they'd probably be cluster feeding, which boosts your supply. So I would try to imitate that by cluster pumping - pumping every 60-90 min for several hours, for a couple of days at least.
The LC at our Mom & Baby group says she likes to see people take a gradual approach to boosting supply, starting with the simplest and most natural solutions and working up to more serious remedies - the reason for that being that if you pull out all your guns at once, you've used them all up right away.
So, begin with making sure you are eating and drinking enough, sleeping enough, pumping enough. Try some natural galactagogues like whole oats and dark beer if you like beer. If all of that isn't cutting it, add in the herbs one by one. And if you still need more help you can talk to your doc about medications. GL!
