i'm of the opinion that if you have to ask if it's PPD, it probably is. you have a lot of the feelings i had before i started getting treatment. everybody has good and bad days but if your feelings are interfering with your ability to deal with your kids or enjoy being with them, you can get help to overcome that so your good days far outnumber your bad ones.
PS i also live in phoenix, east valley. there is an awesome support group at chandler regional hospital, they meet on wednesdays and you can bring your kids, someone is there to occupy them while you talk. i found that hearing other peoples stories, both better and worse than mine, made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. plus it's a nice way to get out of the house.
Thank you so much! I'm going to talk to my doc this week and see what he can prescribe for me. I'm definitely going to look into a support group of some sort...thanks again!
