A potty training question

DD is16 months old and is wanting to potty train. We bought a potty in the hopes of her getting used to the idea. She has been using the potty on and off for 4 months. I have not pushed the potty training because she is still young. DD has recently started taking off her diaper and taking me to the bathroom so she can use her potty.

I am having a very hard time find training underwear or pants in 18 months size.  I am not want to use pull ups or something like that because I think it defeats the purpose of getting rid of the diaper. Any recommendations on what I should get for her?

most underwear runs pretty small - I got my 18 month old 2T/3T elmo underwear from Target and they fit her just fine.

you can also google EC clothing and get some options that way as well.

There are Kushies training pants that I think come in a 20-30lbs size. I've seen them at Walmart (in Canada, though).  Bummis also has the same size of training pant. I've seen them online.  I'm thinking of getting some for DS since he also loooooves sitting on the potty. All. The. Time.  (with very little action!)
