(GD) This is fine right?

I usually test 1 hour after eating, but tonight we were at the mall so I tested 2 hours after with a 79.  I know the number is fine, but it's not a big deal that I tested at 2 hours instead of 1 hour, right?

btw- that was after eating Chili's for dinner.  I had a bowl of enchilada soup, the monterey chicken with 2 sides of veggies (broccoli).  It was really good.

Re: (GD) This is fine right?

  • My nurse gave me the two hour number as well as the one hour number.  It's different in Canada so I don't know where 79 falls but based of reading posts it sounds fine to me.

  • I normally test at 1 hour, but if for some reason I cannot I test at 2 and make it note of it.  It will be fine.
  • My doc wants me testing at 2 hrs, not one. Just make note of it.
  • Mine has me test at 2 hrs & needs to be under 120 so you're great!!   I'm usually in the 80's after 2 hrs.

The dietician said if I got hungry sooner or something came up I could test after 1 hr - they can adjust the numbers so you're good, just the other way around :)

This!  I think you are totally fine with that number!
