What the frig, oatmeal stains clothes?!

We just started trying oatmeal. I know from adult stuff I've eaten it can harden when it dries so I made sure to rinse her burpcloth, bib, clothes etc before throwing in the laundry but when I washed everything last night they came out all stained with brown spots - including a monogrammed burp cloth given to us as a gift which I really liked =( I had no idea it could stain like that.

Be careful with bananas too, they like to stain.

try spot cleaning and soaking in oxi clean.
