we have a carters and oshcosh right next door to eachother about 90 minutes away. dh and i went there and bought lots of pants for dd - enough to last through 18 months, and some other outfits for no more than 5.00 a peice. but they were all sale items. they new spring stuff was regular price
It's cheaper when they have their huge blowout sales. It's definitely worth it then. When the stuff is regular priced, you're better off going to BRU. Their Carter's stuff always seems to be on sale.
Sometimes they have good sales, but I've had better luck at Costco. Costco doesn't have the selection Carter's does, but their regular priced items are cheaper than the outlets. And they get new stuff all the time.
I compared some items I purchased there to the stuff at BRU and it was less (but not by much). However, I went to one of their clearance rack days and they had REALLY cheap stuff. I found several items on the $3.99 rack.
The carters outlet by me always has everything on sale so I think it is cheaper and I think the clothes are better quality than if you by the Carters brand at Target...I always get coupons in my email though so I stock up on coupons. You can use a 20% of $50 or more and a $10 off a $35 or more and save a killing! I got $175 worth of regular priced clothes for $43 after all the sales and discounts and coupons!

The outlet near my MIL's house has some great deals, but so does the store near us here. I think the outlet had a bigger selection and better clearance deals though.
