Trying to Get Pregnant

Pap question

I was due for my annual Pap in November 2009.  I skipped out on it though b/c i knew i would have to get one when i got pregnant.  well here are March and i'm still not pregnant.

Should i go ahead and schedule my annual appointment or wait it out a few more months and hope i get pregnant?

what would you do???

So happy for my BFPB Steff13914 and her new twins! Welcome to the world sweet babies:) Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

Re: Pap question

  • I went a head and scheduled mine on time, that way we can discuss any issues with TTC ( i think i have a few) at the same time.

  • I would get one done. Honestly you have no idea when you will get pregnant and it's important to get your yearly exams.

  • I would schedule it.  They will give you another one regardless when you do get pregnant.

  • I had one back in aug., needed a cervix biopsy so I just had another yesterday.  Don't know why anyone would hold off their annual.  It's important!!!

  • Yeah, considering you already postponed it once I think you should go ahead and get it done.  I am putting mine off a few weeks so that I'm not in the 2ww when I'm getting it done, but I go every 6 months because of an abnormal pap after DS. And my Dr does not repeat a pap when you get pregnant if you've had one recently, so that may be one less thing you have to worry about at your first appointment!  It's already nervewracking enough! GL!
