CD3 test update

I just listened to the voicemail and the bloodwork was negative for a pregnancy.  I knew that I was not pregnant b/c AF is full on, but I guess they were just making sure AF wasn't actually a mc.  They are going to have me go ahead and take clomid days 5-9 and then do bloodwork on day 10.  I won't know if I have to redo all the testing until the RE gets the rest of the bloodwork.

    Wait...did they specifically do day 3 blood work? BEcause if they did, they should know by then that you are not pregnant. My understanding is day 3 blood work is to test for hormone levels and ovarian reserve. 

     I had this happen where I was suppose to be tested for day 3 blood work and they tested me for pregnancy. I mean, hello!?!?, I was on my period obviously I was not pregnant.

    Sorry, I should have clarified.  In my PP I explained that I was going for the day 3 blood work to check ovarian reserve, but I had brown spotting for 4/5 days before red flow.  It was making me nervous about when CD1 really was and the spotting for that many days was unusual for me, so they just added a pg test to the bloodwork to make sure AF wasn't a chemical pregnancy/ early mc.

    I'm hoping it was really day 3, but the nurse said if the numbers are all whacky, they may have to do it again next month :(

    Ohhhh, got it.  I should have read the OP, sorry.

    Like I said, I had the day 3 blood work and pregnancy blood work mix up and I was pissed about.  You know, I mean, way for them to rub it in!
