Vaccine-friendly pediatricians

I would like to find a pediatrician for my baby-on-the-way that will be accepting and supportive of an alternative vaccination schedule.  Anyone  know of one in the eastern suburbs?  Thanks in advance!

Re: Vaccine-friendly pediatricians

  • we see Dr McCabe at Northern Lights Pediatrics, and she's never given us a hard time.

I'm not sure if she's accepting new patients or not, but we've also seen Dr Joseph and Dr Rondla and liked them as well.

We've only been given a hard time by one nurse about her vaccine schedule there, and when I mentioned it to Dr. McCabe, she was fairly upset as she says many of their families do alternative schedules.

edit: I should add, their clinics are in Hugo and Vadnais Heights. The Hugo office is AWESOME.

Got to give them a 2nd recommendation.  We didn't plan on doing an alternative schedule, but when we decided to give DS the flu shot, Dr. Joseph suggested not giving him all the shots at that time because that was a lot for his little body to handle.
