I have it for myself and Dh but not the kids.  The family plan is almost as much as I make sadly.  We pay almost half of what I make now just for me and DH.

Does that mean you have to pay out of pocket for 3 kids? That must be insane!

No that means that since dh doesnt work and I only make a tad over min. wage that the kids qualify for medicaid.  Dh is a full time student taking 16credits.  He should graduate in May 2011 and I hope find a job soon.  We will then add the kids to my insurance or get a family plan through his job if they have it.  If not as long as he is working we can afford the family plan.  My check will mostly be insurance though. 

We didnt plan to be like this but we also didnt plan for dh to be dx with Leukemia 1 mnth before our wedding either.  Oh and we didnt plan to get pg the second time.  We most deff. didnt plan to have twins.  

But we do what we have to for now to get by.  Once he is out of school it will be my turn.  We are at least making an effort to better ourselves.

And Im not trying to sound b!tchy if that is how it came out.  Just saying.    I love having 3 kids so close and wouldnt change it.  Not trying to sound like we didnt "want" the 2nd pg.  It just came sooner than what we had planned for. (we wanted 4yrs between kids)
