Bratwurst + Kielbasa? Ok?

Are these safe to eat? Hear anything bad about them?

Lately...I'm hungry, but when I sit down to eat, I have no appetite.
I'm wondering if these favorites of mine can be harmful.

Just make sure they're cooked to steaming and to counteract the nitrates, drink/eat something with vitamin C in it.

I found some really good nitrate-free bratwurst at my grocery store this weekend.  Look around and see ifyou can find some, since nitrates are one thing they do tell you to avoid

The vitamin C reacts with the nitrates and prevent them from being processed into nitrites, which are what's bad for you and the baby.

If it's cooked I don't see what the problem is. Kielbasa is really salty tho so just make sure you drink enough water. If you want it, I'd go for it.
