Do you check your BS 1 or 2 hours after eating?

I was told 2 hours but it depends on your doctor.

1 here as well.. .though they told me to test up to 2.5 hours later and just to note it in my chart if I went much past 1

I normally test 1 hour afterwards, but if for some reason I miss the 1 hour window (or my one hour is high) then I test at 2 hours and make a note

My doctor gave me the option to test 1 or 2 hours after eating.  In the beginning I tested 1 hour after meals.  After my first round of results, she said to continue to check 2 hours after meals.
