How's the Zofran (Zofron?) working for you? I just emailed my Dr, as I think it might be time to bring out the big guns. The extra B6 is not cutting it.
It's mainly great (with a little not-so-great) at the same time. I had to take it 3x a day like clockwork when I first got it to so I could remain functional at work and actually want to eat food. The only bad side (TMI) - it constipates you. So that's no fun either, but it's better than hurling every hour or two. I got a little dissolvable pill that tasted like a really bad Tums, but it did do the trick. Dried fruit should be your new BFF. ;-)
The cool part now is that (*looking over my shoulder to make sure I don't jinx myself*) it's been getting a lot better. I haven't had to take the pill much at all the last week or so. I have one in my purse in case of emergencies, but now it's like it was in the beginning for me - just eating/snacking every two hours or so and it's all good. But I do need to make sure I don't overeat. If I let myself get too full when eating, the queasies and other unmentionables come back to haunt me.
Are you actually making offerings to the toilet gods or just really queasy? How are you feeling otherwise? Are you about 9 weeks or so? I started getting some of the other fun symptoms/conditions the past week or so like headaches and a bloody nose, just for fun. I swear when one thing gets better, something else kicks in!
No puking, just queasiness. I'm constantly snacking because that seemed to help with the nausea, but it's not so much anymore. And I've had a headache for the past two days, which is tons of fun when all you can take is Tylenol. Tylenol is about effective as a jelly bean...
Thanks for the info on the meds. Waiting to hear back from my Dr...
Oh and FYI. The dissolving pill is 1 every 8 hours. But since I had it so bad, my doc said I could take the next one at 6 hours if I needed it. Funny how I knew exactly when the 6 hours rolled around!
