We have now officially been waiting 5 months and there isn't a lot going on with our agency as far as birthmothers placing right now so we need to network on our own. I don't really know where to start. Can someone give me a few ideas please?  I am going to contact an adoption attorney and I will also contact my OB/GYN. Thanks for your help.

    We sent a letter to everyone on our Christmas card list -- family, friends, coworkers, etc.  We asked them to keep us mind if they heard of anyone considering adoption.  We also sent a similar letter to local family doctors and ob/gyns.  We figured it was worth a shot.
