Easter basket idea for girls who like Barbies

Target has some good deals on Barbies this week because of the new Barbie/Mermaid Tale dvd being released.  This week, the movie is on sale for 12.99.  Plus I had a coupon for $5 off that I saw in the newspaper.  Then, when I walked back to the toy aisle, there was a sign over the barbies that said certain ones were free with the purchase of the Mermaid Tale dvd.

There was nothing on the dvd that indicated it came with a free barbie doll--if I hadn't walked back to the toy aisle for something else, I never would have known that I was entitled to a free doll with my purchase.  So I got a doll and a dvd for $7.99.  Both are going in my DD's Easter basket.

Not too long ago ( 3 weeks i think)  a friend of mine went to Walmart and found some barbies for $5. Not sure if it was a sale or regular price, but worth checking out .
